Forty years ago, the ex (now a cardio-thoracic surgeon making beaucoup bucks) was asked to leave a blackjack table at Vegas (don't remember the specific casino) because he was doing well and they could tell that he was counting the cards in the 5-deck shoe.
And how does one do that? Just curious what steps you take to avoid that. You'd think with facial recognition tech these days you'd be escorted out as soon as you arrive at a casino, Dr Sheftall!

That's part of the game. You have to escape detection by the pit bosses.
PS. ..I knew a Dr. XXXXX who was eventually banned from the tables
as he was way too good.....but he made a ton of money before they
tumbled to his incredible brain's ability.
I don't want to give you his name, but you remind me of him. Very nice
unassuming man.

Well, Dr. sheftall is a plastic surgeon.
Imagine being married to him..."Darling, could you go to the Casino tomorrow, I'd
like to buy a new car".
Heavenly.
Do you also avoid the continuous shuffling machines?
Do be careful Dr. Sheftall.....the casino's are gonna hate you.
