I cannot see the picture in enough detail to figure out if those are ships, or whitecaps, or whatever.....

I see four boats, one is sinking.

I think 3. The angle doesn't match up on the closest one so I'm thinking that's two. Plus the one in the back.
I believe it’s just two.
