That's very nice of you to say. I had a serious brush with death last weekend. I went from being holed up in my house for 4 days enduring gradually more and more pain in my abdomen to the ER for one hour and then straight to the ICU. I did a lot of thinking and I will try to put it to good use. Three days on now and I feel much better but I won't let that opportunity to think deeply about things be a waste of time.

It was not kind. It was the truth. Wish I had found you earlier.

I am sorry to hear of your pain and brush with death. I am a charter member of the Kidney stone of the month, and of course, every time I wish I COULD die. I've been to the ER more times than I care to remember just to get pain pills (I am trying to grow poppies, but little success). I hope you were treated and well now. You don't need to tell us what it was, just tell us you are okay.

(Ps, I need to drink more water, it solves it, but my job makes it impossible...can't get to a bathroom)...But your bout sounds more serious.

Please take care...we cannot afford to lose you.

EVERYONE: If you haven't bought this book YOU NEED TO.

It is a RIVETING READ AND YOU WON"T BE ABLE TO PUT IT DOWN.

In the meantime Dr, I have written myself a note to buy 4 more. this weekend...and I AM going to stick them in the little free libraries.......I do not care how many liberals I offend.

I bet they wont be able to put it down either.

You are a princess. It was a cascade of events that all came to a disasterous head at once and my heart could barely take it. a shower of kidney stones due to dehydration, an intestinal obstruction, internal bleeding, and heart failure. I still couldn't get the coumadin thing right. I'm off it now.. I can't wait to get home from overseas and put your idea into action I know of 5 libraries in San Jose and around The Jacksonville beaches I will be donating books to. Thank you !!
