I find it hard to totally dismiss one's level of natural immunity as having contributed to lessening severity and death among vaccinated people. Research seems to assume is negligible or non-existent. by default Isn't there a possibility that these vaccines do not make much difference at all?

Natural immunity rescues (somewhat) vaccinated people. It's in my last debate with Jay. He may not be able to explain that one away. I'm looking forward to his attempt to do so.
