Time for a Face-to-Face Challenge

Dr. Paul Offit, Head of the Vaccine Education Center at CHOPP (Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia), and a pediatrician specializing in immunology, infectious diseases, vaccination, and virology and holding various prestigious chairs at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine has made two claims that I consider misinformation and even disinformation.. I have issued a public challenge to him.

So this won’t be taken out of context, I am pasting the link to the post in which Dr. Offit made these claims followed by my challenge to them, pasted here in its entirety.

" SARS-CoV-2, on the other hand, has killed almost 1.2 million people in the United States". That is not true, Dr. Offit. The death figures were grossly exaggerated. The PCR test that was used to confirm diagnoses of SARS-2 infection was deeply flawed in a number of ways that increased deaths. State public health officers made it clear any person with a positive PCR test at the time of death who died of a clear alternative cause was listed as a Covid death.

Also your claim that "abundant evidence now proves that SARS-CoV-2 virus was an animal-to-human spillover event that occurred in the western section of the Huanan Wholesale Seafood Market in late 2019" is also incorrect. On February 20, 2020, I proved the virus could not have entered the human population through natural zoonotic spillover. I will be happy to explain my reasoning if you would like. Just say the word. Perhaps you could do a post where you present evidence for natural zoonotic spillover and I attempt to refute it directly and with my proof. What would be ideal, though would be a live debate covering two issues; 1) the number actually killed by COVID-19 in the United States and 2) the mechanism by which the SARS-2 virus entered the human population. Was it through natural zoonotic spillover as you contend or from a laboratory. We would conduct this debate in a spirit of helpfulness and could livestream and record it debate for the public's benefit.

The way I see it, Dr. Offit, who I failed to mention is one of the inventors of the Rota-virus vaccine and sits on the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Vaccines and Related Biological Products Advisory Committee and is a member of the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices, is clearly a giant in the field of vaccinations, both pediatric and otherwise.

In my opinion, he has has two options. 1) refuse the challenge to debate me on these issues, most likely by ignoring my comment, and 2) return to his seat and make sure his seatbelt is securely fastened. Major turbulence ahead.
